  • Jason Crouse - Owner, Trainer

    Jason Crouse is the Owner and Founder of JFTS Strength & Conditioning 2.0 LTD., based in Saint John, N.B., Canada. With over 25 years of experience in the fitness industry, Jason has earned numerous certifications, including Personal Fitness Trainer (PFT), Resistance Training Leader (RTL), a diploma in Fitness and Nutrition, and Level 1 and Level 2 FMS Mobility certifications. He is also an accomplished author and motivational speaker.

    Jason has spent the majority of his career as a Personal Trainer and Mobility Expert.

    He attended Results Fitness University in Santa Clarita, California, founded by renowned fitness experts Alwyn and Rachel Cosgrove. His diverse career includes serving as the Strength & Conditioning Coach for the semi-professional basketball team, the Saint John Riptides, during their 2019 season. He has also coached numerous MMA athletes in his community.

    As a bodybuilder, Jason has achieved remarkable success, winning the 2017 Atlantic Canadian Middleweight Bodybuilding Championship, and placing first at the 2022 Flex Lewis Canadian Classic Championship, earning his IBBF Pro Card. He is a three-time Gold Medalist and a Men’s Masters Bodybuilding Champion.

    A passionate and dedicated professional, Jason continues to impact the fitness industry through his coaching, expertise, and community involvement, always striving to support and inspire others

  • Heather Brittan - Strength Coach

    Heather's passion for a healthy, active lifestyle led her to begin her Personal Training career in 2005. As an avid volleyball player and weight lifter Heather is not a stranger to training and understands what her clients actually “feel” during their sessions.

    She has actively been coaching various clients and helping them reach their personal health and wellness goals.

    As a lifelong student, Heather found that many clients suffer from chronic pain. She began her studies in Trigger Point Therapy and has become certified in the William Huhn Method™, obtaining Level 2 and working towards her teaching level. Her studies of this therapy have given her a better understanding of dysfunction in the human body and how best to treat pain so clients can remain active for life.

    Being a Trigger Point Bodyworker for ten years, helping people significantly reduce pain, whether from chronic pain conditions or pain from injury. Trigger point sessions are received in a private setting at my residence.

    With over the last 15 years of experience in the industry, Heather has continued her education, developing her skills as a trainer to assist her clients best in achieving an active yet balanced lifestyle.

  • Claude Boulanger - Strength Coach

    Claude is a passionate group training coach who’s been involved in coaching for 12 years. A lifelong Saint Johnner, Claude started weight training at the early age of 14 with his first set of weights that his older sister bought him.  From there, he went on to workout at high school and competed in long distance running and track and field.  

    Claude’s passion led him to a gym with group interval training classes where his mentor Sean Barker convinced him to become a coach.

    When introduced to “mud runs” Claude was in his glory.  Competing in athletic tasks and getting dirty like a kid was like the best of both worlds, lol.

    Claude is now working on his personal training certification, little by little, in the limited time between a busy work schedule and home life.

    Claude is a Level 1 Strength Coach.

  • J.D Mosely - Strength Coach

    J.D. has been involved in the fitness industry for over 30 years. During that time he has instructed a variety of classes including aerobics, step classes, strength & conditioning and box fit.

    Helping people attain their fitness goals, while having fun, is what I thoroughly enjoy.

    Sherry Dumont

    With a lifelong passion for fitness, Sherry brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to every coaching session. From aquacise and step aerobics to sports and strength training, she has dedicated herself to helping others move, feel, and perform better.

    Mentored by Sean Barker, Sherry knows firsthand that consistency and discipline are the keys to lasting health and fitness success. She emphasizes safety, proper form, and gradual progression while fostering a positive and motivated mindset in every member she trains.

    When she’s not in the gym, you’ll find Sherry running the trails or embracing the therapeutic power of horses.

  • Gannon Thomas

    Gannon is a dedicated combat sports athlete and fitness fanatic who lives and breathes discipline, performance, and growth. His background in high-level training gives him a sharp edge and a deep understanding of what it takes to push limits—physically and mentally.

    At the core of our team, Gannon handles membership sales, building genuine connections and making sure every new member feels seen, understood, and supported. His experience in the fitness world makes him a natural at helping others take that first step.

    He also leads our marketing efforts and backend automations, streamlining operations and driving growth. With Gannon, everything runs with clarity, structure, and intensity—the same way he trains.

  • Heidi Ross

    Heidi Ross is a Level 2 Dental Assistant, mom of three, and a proud JFTS Insider. Her fitness journey began with hesitation — she sat in the parking lot twice, overwhelmed with anxiety, before finally finding the courage to walk through the doors. That single step changed everything.

    Since then, Heidi has experienced a transformation that has been nothing short of life-changing. She has lost 33 inches and 60 pounds, but more importantly, she has gained strength, confidence, and a renewed sense of self. What began as doubt and fear has now become a sustainable lifestyle — one built on discipline, resilience, and the unwavering support of the JFTS community.

    Today, JFTS isn’t just a gym for Heidi; it’s home. It’s the place where she has healed, grown, and found her true passion. Inspired by her own journey, Heidi is now pursuing her personal training certification through ISSA so she can help others walk their own path — from fear and uncertainty to strength and confidence. She believes that if she could take that first step, anyone can.
